Has anybody or would you be willing to bowl in your barefeet?

I do it all the time here in San Diego and it's a blast. Try to do it when you can. You'll never where shoes again!

Has anybody or would you be willing to bowl in your barefeet?
I've bowled before in my bare-feet and it was exhilarating.
Reply:There is something about a dirty floor and the potential to drop that ball on your feet that turns me off on the idea..

Reply:I never dropped the ball on my shoe why should I drop it on my foot. Sounds like fun if the lane would let us do it.
Reply:I live in a small town and love to bowl barefoot when I can. The alley's don't frown upon it as long as you don't have any foot fungus. Also when you rent bowling shoes they are only sterilized with a spray and that's it. Really there's no difference except you are more comfortable barefoot. As for dropping the ball on your toes, well, I say you are just as likely to hurt your foot with a 10 pound bowling ball, shoes or not!
Reply:i used to bowl in my socks, its kinds of fun, you slip and slide all over the floor

Reply:Only once after too much tequilla. Boy was it fun and we giggled all night.
Reply:i don't think the bowling alleys like that. besides, knowing me, i would probably drop the ball on my foot
Reply:If you can get away with it,I say go for it.I do all I can in my barefeet.
Reply:but I like those funky red and white shoes. They make me look like a clown!!! Its part of the whole experience. Its that moment when you get home and still realise you've got them up.
