Is this a good mother's day gift?

She wants a pair of shoes, so I will get those for sure.

I was also thinking of getting her a "green" reusable grocery bag and fill it with "green" products from the grocery store. Green versions of toilet paper, paper towel, coffee filters, toilet bowl cleaner, laundry detergent.

Do you think the "green" gift is a good idea? My parents aren't really environmentally concerned, unlike me. I watched a bunch of "green" shows, I was a week behind in my tapes so I just caught all the Earth Day shows this weekend and want to do more than I normally do.

Is this a good mother's day gift?
Your idea really awesome.I also need consider same as you.
Reply:I think it's a great idea, you are showing her how ecologically conscience you are and sharing your knowledge with her, she will be so proud of you and hopefully start being a little more "green" herself!
Reply:Yes,it sounds very thoughtful, and Im pretty sure your mom will love it, also it would be very cool if you also wrote her a small letter about the "green" gift... so she'll understand it and then it will be more thoughtful...

hope this helps you...
Reply:As a mother, the perfect gift would be a day of pampering your mother. Like do all the chores, give her a manicure/pedicure, massage , a day at the salon. Pamper her, she will love it.
Reply:Sure, if your mom even hates it, she will probally eaccept it anyway =))
Reply:I think it is neat idea as long as your parents are against saving the environment and are in to harming it. Which I doubt they are. They may like the way the products work and buy them all the time, even if they don't become environmentally concerned.
Reply:anything a daughter/son gives their mother is appreciative....at least that is the way I feel......enjoy your day with your mom and I hope she enjoys your gifts

this day in history
